...as good as a Cadillac, bug you? This Christmas 2007, Cadillac has a new TV ad featuring an affluent-looking woman driving a car and we hear her voice-over as she speaks to herself, thinking about gifts from Christmas past her husband bought her. She mentions a 72-inch flat screen color TV and by the sarcastic tone of her voice, you can tell this gift was beneath her.
Note that was probably a $4000-$5000 gift.
This year her husband allowed her to pick her own gift. What does she choose? A new Cadillac and judging from the model she is driving, that was about a $43,000 - $70,000 car.
NOW she is satisfied and thinks, "Honey, you finally got it right!" -- with a sly grin of satisfaction on her face.
Isn't this the epitome of GREED & ARROGANCE? A 72" flat screen TV -- which just about anyone would be absolutely DELIGHTED to receive -- isn't GOOD ENOUGH for her...so she has to have a Cadillac costing 10 times as much or more.
UGGG!!! I don't like Cadillac anymore and how they glamorize greed now. You?
