The new Focus RS model will not use 2.5L five-cylinder supercharged engine in the previous generation but a smaller displacement engine, the Mustang 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged engine, with maximum power up to 350 horsepower.
The Focus RS will be powered by Ford's new 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder turbocharged engine. In order to provide more driving pleasure, the matching engine is still a 6-speed manual gearbox. The current model uses a mechanical differential to solve the problem of understeer. The new generation model is expected to be upgraded to the electronic E-diff differential, thus ensuring the vehicle get enough grip in any situation.
Compared to the regular edition, the appearance of the new generation Focus RS is more of movement characteristics. The front face has a huge black grille. The internal ST marking is also an important status symbol in this model. The fixed rear wing in the rear, exclusive wheels, and the lightweight seats make it different from other Focus.
