Ford F550 Dash board lights not working.?

I can't see the speedometer or other gauges at night. Where do I start to find the problem? Where are the light bulbs located so I can see if they are burned out? I checked the fused under the dash board and all seemed okay.

Make sure your dash lights dimmer switch isn't turned all the way down before you start ripping the dashboard apart. This happened to me and I felt stupid when I twisted the knob and the dash lit up.

if you smell burning then you probably have a short in the system. look under the hood for blown fuses.
