I have a 91 GMC Sonoma with a 2.5 4cyl motor. A couple mornings ago I tried starting it with 3/4 tank of gas and it wasnt getting any fuel. Turns out the fuel lines were frozen so we added a bottle of Heet and that fixed it. Well I ran that tank to empty and filled the tank again since then and added a bottle of Heet to prevent it from freezing up again.
This morning it wasnt getting fuel again and wouldnt start. The injectors are clean and we ran a bottle of seafoam through the gas tank a couple weeks ago...so we figured it was frozen again. We added another bottle of Heet and it wouldnt start.
We're going to drop the gas tank and drain it tomorrow but I was wondering if there was a way I could insulate the fuel lines to prevent it from freezing up again.
