...terminals clean. What do we look at next? I've replaced the transmission 1 1/2 years ago - and been told it's going bad too - so I don't want to put much $$ in the car. Car runs, but lights dim, radio cuts out, engine lights in the dashboard light up, and then it dies. Wait 10 minutes or so, and it'll restart and go - but dies again in a shorter time, repeated again - still shorter time. We checked the alternator, battery terminals, battery itself - all tested well and worked. Is there anything else we can look at before I take it in to the mechanic? Help !!!!
