primes up and it was put on? a guage and has pressure. Sprayed ether in the air box. Still no start. The car was scanned for codes and the only thing that comes up is for the fuel pump but that seems to be incorrect. Has anyone come across this before and if so, do you know what it might be?
I replaced the distributor a few years ago. It is not doing the same thing as then. In fact the car ran fine on my lunch break and when I went to leave work, it wouldn't start. It cranks over fine and the battery and starter are good. The check engine light is not on before or after the no start issue.
The car is the 2.5 six cylinder LXI. Please help me diagnose the problem. I know a lot of you will say junk it but I know it will cost a lot less to fix it than it is to buy a new car even if I have to pay close to a grand like I did the last time. Car has been down for over a week now.
