I purchased a broken 4 wheeler and the owner said he lost the title and we would apply for a new one. Well by the time I got the bike fixed and dumped a bunch of money into it the original owner disappeared. Now I want to get my 4 wheeler legal but if it comes up stolen they will take it and I will be out all kinds of money. So is there a way to check without going to the cops?
