how do i disable my anti theft on 98 mercury mountaineer? i?

I unlock the car, the theft should shut off, but it's not, the car thinks im trying to steal it, therefore will not start. all lights work, everything comes on...but the theft wont turn off. how do i disable it forever? i already unhooked the battery cables for 10 min. it's not resetting anything.

douse the engine bay and interior with gasoline. light a match or zippo and through in the car or engine bay. problem fixed piece of ash
