My garage is attached to my house, but the walls and garage door are uninsulated. I am a cigar/pipe tobacco enthusiast in Idaho and during the late fall/winter/early spring months it is WAY to cold outside to sit on my back porch, so I use my garage. The walls are uninsulated, but are sheetrocked.
I want a way to insulate my garage and garage door to maintain heat. I also want an efficient heater that won't burn down my house or run up my power bill, and I would like some way to vent the garage so that I can vent the smoke without losing all the heat.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this trifecta of insulation, heat, and smoke-venting so I don't have to freeze my peaches off?
