I changed my oil, oil filter, and air filter for the scheduled 15,000 service instead of paying the Volvo Dealer $200 - $300 for a servicing my vehicle. My owner manual does not tell me how to turn off the warning message. The message comes when I start the vehicle, I can press a button to clear the message then the message appears again when I turn the vehicle off. I know there's a way that the dealer would turn this warning off after they preform the service that I did.
