...LT77 gear box without the transfer? I need to get the engine and gear box reconditioned and need to know the weight of the J19 LandRover engine, complete and the weight of the LT77 gear box without the transfere gear box. I have a small box trailer rated for 450 Kg am I overloading the trailer? The engine will be strapped down to a wooden pallet as will the gear box. I will be driving 2000 km. So the third question is am I mad driving from Spain to Scotland with these components and then back to Spain to refit them to the Land Rover defender?
