How to gain power in my 960 volvo?

I have a 1996 960 volvo automatic transmission. What could i do to noticeably get more hp out of it. It has a 2.9 L V6 24 valve and for Power: 135 kW , 181 HP @ 5,200 rpm; 199 ft lb @ 4,100 rpm. Im new at this stuff so cut me some slack and can yha kinda make it so i can understand what your talking about
