how to remove driver side door mirror glass on 1997 vauxhall astra?

how do you remove the door mirror glass as it currently is shattered and want to replace it

if the glass is broken, it would be a cheap fix on that age of car to replace the complete mirror from a breakers yard!

Go to your local Halfords and buy a replacement mirror. The mirror glues direct over the old broken mirror glass and is a cheap easy fix.
