Acuras are very expensive to fix. I bought a '87 Acura at an auction years ago for $3000. I thought I was getting a bargain. I spent over $5k on it in the next year and it was broken down more than it was running.

You can't repair the automatic transmission of a late 80's/early 90's Acura Legend. You have to replace it w/ a new transmission, $3k+ (One of the many things that went wrong w/ the car)

Want my opinion. 200,000 miles on any car is not worth but 500 bucks to me. Check with a dealer and ask them what the trade in value would be? I bet they would not give you anymore than 400.bucks. in hopes they can auction it off for about 500 bucks.
