Depends.
THERE ARE GENERALLY 2 KINDS OF WASHER FLUID AVAILABLE:

THE 1ST KIND IS FOR GENERAL USE ABOVE APPROX 40 DEG F. TEMPERATURES.
the other type is an anti-freeze type for colder (snow/ice) climates.
(U don't want your reservoir to freeze, or it will burst, in 1 of these colder climates)

Other than that, u can use anything, even water (just don't use anything with ammonia, like Windex, or you'll smell thru the vents as u drive!

You MUST buy General Motors brand Pontiac/Buick/ Cadillac all-season washer fluid (part number A3445t-o9989p09l-a) which is available at most GM parts counters for $65.95 a gallon. The warranty on your windshield washer tank could be jeopardized if you use the 2.99 a gallon stuff that is available everywhere else.

(this is facetious, in case you didn't catch that. Use whatever works for you, make sure its rated for cold temperatures if you live in an area where it drops below freezing.)

yes. it is not going to make a difference. any wiper fluid will work. remember, it is for your windshield and will not damage the car. you can mix it with water and as long as it cleans the windshield, you are good to go.
