and how much of a lift I need? Right now it has stock tires on it. I want to get larger tires(not too much bigger, maybe 31") and I need to calculate how much this is going to cost.

I'm not a mechanic so I also need to know how much of a lift would be needed( I want a 3 inch lift)

What parts do I need to buy? And where is a decent place to get some good tires for a reasonable price?

looking for a general idea on what this is going to cost me!Thanks in advance!

A 3-4 inch suspension lift kit with new shocks will cost $500 - $900. This will buy you a high quality name brand kit. If you'd rather you can buy a body lift for about half that much but there are no performance gains with this type kit except for add tire clearance. Installation will probably cost $250 on up. They are not terribly complicated to install but do require basic mechanical skills and several tools. Thirty one inch tires will cost $400 on up for a set of four. Your stock wheels will work fine. Aftermarket wheels will cost about the same as tires.

Good sources: Fourwheel parts wholesalers , rocky mountain suspensions, rancho, skyjacker, and fabtech.
