I have water leaking onto the floorboard of my car, why? Buick Skylark 1993?

I have had a car that has been parked outside for 4 years. Someone told me the door seals are old; I am leaking water badly in the rain only;; no smells; onto the floorboard in front of seats and under seats. What is going on?

More than likely there is a leak in the windscreen, but the other probability is that the ventilation system has a rust hole in it. This will be in the chamber that is just in front of and just below the windscreen. Door seals might also be a problem, but this is less likely to be the cause.

The water will create smells if you let it sit under the carpets.
