i got like a promotion paper from my local chrysler dealer that shows what offers they got rigth now but in one part it said scratch here and if you have the wining number you can get a car, plasma tv, ATV, $1,000 gift card or $100 cash and it said no purchase nacassary. so i scrachted the thing and it match with the winning number so i dont know if i should go and claim my prize it says in there to go to the dealer to get any of the prizes, i don't know waht to do should i go.
i think i win something from chrysler but not sure?

Go get your prize! Watch out for the hook and bait promotion though. Don't pay a penny for anything they offer for the prize, ie shipping and handling costs, that part is a scam. But you may be the one out of a thousand that actually won something from Chrysler. Consider yourself lucky if you did. We are, or were, sponsored by Chrysler/Dodge, and we only get parts for cost and new ECU's every race. WHOOOWHOO! Check us out on SpeedVision.

I have been in the car business for 15 years now, and I can tell you that you did not win anything big! These are promotions that car dealers pay companies to do for them that is 95% print, and 100% to get you in the door. Some dealers will give a small percentage a $5 prize and consider it a cost of doing business. I can ASSURE you that if a dealer was going to legitimately give away a vehicle they would have the local news there, and it would be really advertised. Dealers have success in these ads, albeit very misleading, because they can get you in the door, and maybe excited about their vehicles. Some send out car keys, some scratch offs, but in 15 years I have never seen anyone get a free car. My dealership does not stoop to those levels (thankfully) but I have been at others that do and it was always frustrating for the staff and the people that received them. Save yourself a drive unless you really need a newer vehicle, and if you do, avoid those that use these practices because I can also guarantee you that they will not give you the service you should receive.
