(gmc sonoma) if I have 4WD? The last 7 years I have driven a Ford Ranger with a 4 cyl. and rear wheel drive only. I always would put tube sand in the back to help weigh it down. My new truck is a GMC Sonoma with a v6 and 4wd. I know the 4wd will help in the ice/snow, but there still isn't much weight in the back of the truck, and I know 4wd doesn't solve everything. Would it be worth it to have the extra weight in the back even thoug its a 4x4?
