I had a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Country 5 speed and had no real problems. Traded at 154,000 and the transmission had started to go out. I traded it for a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and it has a little over 64,000 miles and one Friday had to had two parts replaced on my transmission at the tune of $450.00. The automatic transmission on the Jeeps are not as great as the 5 speeds. As far a gas I only get about 16.9 miles per gallon.
