Is a Nissan Altima an "old-fart" car?

I am trying to decide between the Nissan Versa and the Altima. I am 33 with no kids. I love both of the cars, but my boyfriend says that I am stepping into "old-fartdom" if I get the Altima. Surprisingly, they get about the same gas mileage. What do you all think?

Nissan Altima is hardly an 'old fart' car. For a good buy check out last years Alitma SE-R (VQ35 - bullet proof V-6 with 270 horses), beefed up suspension and 0-60 times in low 6's!
