Is its worth payring $ 1000 extra for Anti Lock Brake System( ABS) when buying car.?

Yes, it is worthy. An anti-lock braking system (ABS) is a system on motor vehicles which prevents the wheels from locking while braking. The purpose of this is to allow the you to maintain steering control under heavy braking and, in some situations, to shorten braking distances (by allowing the driver to hit the brake fully without the fear of skidding or loss of control).

does help in certain conditions and if you know how to use it properly some people think the noise and vibration in the pedal means that its not working properly. some insurers may have lower premium for cars with abs as it is a safety feature.

Depends on where you drive and your skill level.

Since you have to ask, I'd say yes, you should get then, especially if you live someplace where the roads get slippery in bad weather.

ABS senses wheel lock-up, and pulses the brakes to retain steering in emergency situations.
