Poor Irish Mom
Rookie
I purchased this van new from a Dealer in Albany New York in 2004. I was laughed at by co-workers who stated a Ford is to FIX OR REPAIR DAILY-- but I liked the van along with the media center for the children; and felt that a machine that costs more than my first home would go the distance. What a surprise when the only thing that is happening since the 36 month warranty is up,is my wallet gets lighter because ford keeps putiing there hand in my pocket.
Since the van has come off warranty I have replaced two window motors front passenger and driver door, battery, tires, master switch motor and now the windshield washer motor.
Is this happening to other Ford owners and should Ford itself be doing a recall or is this just the luck of the Irish where we should be weary of the American automobile? Anybody else out there in the same boat as me? I am now totally disillusioned with any ford product.
