I'm new to the site. I'm interested in what you all think about a new auto accessory. My wife invented it and has two patents on it. (I guess she should really be the one on here.) Anyway, its called The DOORKICK and it is a 3" x 7" piece of vinyl (any color) with a thin foam backing and 3M adhesive. It is designed to be placed on the bottom of the interior door panel so when people kick your car door open, they don't scratch the door. The 3M adhesive holds up to extreme heat, but pulls away from the door cleanly. I have a more detailed description at Thedoorkick.com.
I'm very interested in what you all think about the idea. It was presented at SEMA and it had very positive feedback.
