99 Olds Alero is completely dead. Less than a year ago my alternator went out and I had it replaced. Starting two days ago my car started acting weird and died in the street. I got it started again and it seemed fine. Today I can't get it to do anything. It won't even turn over... it's DEAD. I'm going to have to get it towed. Shouldn't an alternator last more than one year? Is there something more serious wrong?
My old did have a warranty but I'm going to get charged for labor again.... if it is the alternator and that p!sses me off.
