please help me identify this part of buick 99 century?

Its an electronic ignition. where the sparks plugs plug into. to fire the engine. what is the proper name for that part? Please help
how much does it usually cost? any resources on where i can find it

there are six parts to gm ignition,
computer
harness (wires from computer to next part)
ignition module
coil packs (I think your car has 3)
plug wires
spark plugs

it sounds like you are talking about your coil packs
they are round black things if they are stock they will have two numbers on them with two torque screws holding them on. They cost about $20 apiece and you can have them tested and buy new ones at any parts store.

Electronicly controlled ignition doesn't have a distributor.

the spark plug plugs dricly into the engine, then the back of of the spark plug has a little "nub" that the spark plug wire plugs into. then the spark plug wire runs from the spark plus to the distributor. the distributor control the time the spark plugs from the move the pistons.
