transmission & cylinder? We didn't realize we lost all coolant and we ran the bike for about an hour. the engine seized. kickstand will not go down. what is the chance for an overhaul. is it worth it. or is it better to get a new or used engine. the bike is a 2004 CR 125, two stroke.
PLEASE!!! somebody-where can i find a good used engine for a 2004 CR125 dirt bike.

the only thing it would hurt is the cylinder (maybe) rings/piston have the cylinder checked out a simple rebuild will do it. i wont hurt the transmission or the gear. most likely the piston swelled and and/or scarred the walls. and piston/rings are stuck in the cylinder. a complete top end kit,- piston, rings, circlips, wristpin, wristpin bearings, and gasket if the cylinder isnt bad. if it is have it bored, if it isnt a nikisil cylinder. if it is you will also have to buy a new one. or a good used one off ebay.
