I went car shopping with my mom and my friend and were looking at a pontiac soltise (sp?) and i didnt like, but out of no where i saw the GXP G6 coupe.

do you like it if you have one?
how fast do they go?
and please tell when one will go on sale or reduced price?
any detail about your car (if you have one) would be extra special.

thanks

I have a 2007 G6--I like it so far. I've had it since March but I don't know if there is much difference between the 2007 and the 2008. Usually cars go on sale in the summer to make room for the newer year models but I had a GM discount for my car anyway so it was cheaper.

I think the speedometer goes up to 200mph but I doubt if it goes that fast- I haven't driven it over 80 mph. It gets really good gas mileage so thats a plus. The only complaint that I have is that the key FOB battery already stopped working so I have to go get that changed.

It's an 08 meaning the model just came out, don't expected to be on sale when it's BRAND NEW! And they probably have a computer chip in them that shuts the engine down once you hit about 110. A lot of newer cars have that feature to prevent twitty teenage girls from driving 125 while sipping starbucks and texting their BFF Jill.

Very fast with cold air and S.C. stock. But do not hold any value after 2-3 years. I would wait until some bugs are worked out since this engine setup is different then any other GXP Pontiac and not been proven. It will be worth the wait. Good gas and plenty of power 300 Hp and 325 Torque is quite impressive off the showroom to street. Also 32,000 you can get better car maybe 2-3 years old. Audi V8, C-class M.B., or Bmw 325ci or M3. The Audi is a sedan with good lines and comfort and very, very fast. Most used in road rallies because of comfort, performance, and reliability, also cost of which is 44,000 new.
