...accelerating and all of a sudden... I was driving and i nailed the gas and i was accelerating and all of a sudden my car lost of of its torque and power so i slowed down and pulled over and the car was idleing really rough where the car would shake and it was trying to die so i slowly drove off and the car would not let me rev over 2000 rpm. The next day it was running fine and it would let me rev fine but it still has a really rough idle. i have no idea what it could be can you please help me?? thank you

I own a 96 Saab 900. It's almost an antique. My idle is rough at times, in very cold weather and very hot. I suspect a few things that don't run into big SAAB dollars.

A) Fuel and Injector Cleaner Help
B) Keeping the tank more than half full
C) Getting my fuel filter cleaned.

Depending on your miles, you might want to try the higher end injector cleaner, buy good gas of higher octane, and then also get that fuel filter changed.
