I'm working on restoring the motorcycle I bought last year, and while I'm having it painted I want to find a new seat. Currently, it has the stock seat, but that's cracking and starting to break down. I never ride with a passenger, so I don't need to have the sissy bar and raised passenger part of the seat. (Plus, since I'm tall, on long rides the part where it rises ends up rubbing on me, and starts to get sore, so I'd rather not have it.) I've been looking online, and I can only find the duo seats for the Shadow.
So my question is, is it possible to put a solo seat on my bike instead of the ones modeled after the stock seat? And if so, what do I need to look for to make sure that it will work for my bike?
