I am going to rent a car in California for 6 weeks. I don't own a car of my own, so I don't have any normal car-insurance policy of my own. I do have a Visa gold-card, that covers collision damage waiver; but I wouldn't want to be without liability etc.
Question: Is there any better deal I can get than paying the $10-$15 per day to the car rental company? Any ideas would be very welcome.
