Should I buy my daughter a Lamborghini Gallardo for her 18th birthday?

She is a senior at a private school here in LA many of the other students drive nice cars as well..
Do you think this is a wise decision?
She promised me that she will drive safely and not bring it to college in the fall.

Promises are like pie crust: easily made, easily broken. Your daughter is going to have to live in the real world at some point. Will spoiling her now benefit her? If she is already living the life of a spoiled teen, which I assume she is, then you have to decide when to cut the wallet-strings. Now, when it could really benefit her to experience "life", or when she's 30 and moved back in because she tried to continue the lifestyle she has now on the salary of a single woman?
