I recently read about a person who bought a 1997 Sierra and was having trouble with the truck "skipping" and had a bunch of work done to it. I am having the same trouble with my 1998 Silverado 1500 4 wheel drive and decided I would try replacing the tcc solenoids after a new set of wires, plugs rotor, rottor buton and cap and fuel filter. I have the chilton for my truck but this is not listed anywhere.
I read one repsonse which said to remove the tranny pan......and then what? is it really that simple?
