Top 10 Best-Selling Vehicles for 2005
By Warren Clarke

Curious as to which vehicles topped the sales chart last year? Here are the models most likely to have wound up in a driveway (or commercial fleet) near you in 2005. Full-size trucks continue to dominate; no surprises there. What is surprising, though, is the fall of the mighty Ford Explorer. A perennial top 10 favorite, the ute saw a notable drop in sales last year. As a result, the Chevrolet TrailBlazer is the only sport-utility vehicle to crack 2005's top 10 list.

No nissan in top10 last year? That is interesting.
may be its the US figures?

asia is a big market and so is europe.

Toyota is the best in asian market, not sure about the european one but the toyota boffins sure have installed a better image of toyota in the hearts and minds of people.

Toyota is very famouse for its realiability and cheap price here in UK, more so then the other japanese cars which are the same in terms of reliability and price, how ever i think toyota has done some clever marketing and got out of it a good image.

in UK at the least :D
