Hello everyone, I would like to get your opinion on towing with a subaru legacy. I am/going to be towing a tent trailer with a 1993 legacy wagon L and would like to know what i can and cannot do. I am new to towing and any information would help.
One thing I will mention is that I'm going to install an electronic brake control system. Do you think I need it?
The manual states you can tow 2000lbs. Total. Is that alot for a car with a 2.2L automatic transmission? Obviously, the age doesn't help.
I love the car and it's treated us very well over the years. So if there is something I can do to make it tow smoother, I will.
