On February 20, 2008, 81 years later, the 15 millionth Volvo (a C70 Convertible) will be produced at the Uddevalla factory. The most successful Volvo in history was the Volvo 200 Series, of which 2,862,573 units were sold between 1974 and 1993. An interesting Guinness record Volvo holds, is that of the car that has covered a higher mileage than any other car on the planet. It’s a Volvo P1800, owned by Irv Gordon, which past 2,000,000 miles (3,218,000 km) in 2002 and in 2012 is expected to be do its 3 millionth mile (4,827,000 km)....
