You should consider a newer mustang. I had a 03 Saleen mustang. The car has been in the shop more than I drive it. Apparently the transmission around those years had defects and the electronics on the dash have problems later on. But I have friends that have the newer mustangs. No problems at all. Watch out for the dealers selling warranties. Sometimes they dont honor the warranty and you end up paying out of your pocket like I did.
