What do you think of the Retro-look cars like MIni, Beetle and Fiat 500?

I think they dont look anything like the original except the Fiat 500, I saw one today but the back end looks shit! The (not so new now) new Beetle's Rear end looks like the front! The Mini should have been called a BMW Mini with BMW badge on it, it looks boring(though the Clubman looks better). Much better are the Japanese Kei car versions of the Jaguar(VIEWT) and the VW Camper(Subaru Sambar) at least the look like original even tho they got small engines! What do you car enthusiasts all think?

I looked at some of the retro cars and like you, I am thoroughly dissapointed.

I looked at the retro Mustangs, and they are pretty. After some thought, I realized I could buy an original and restore it for the same money. The amazing thing is the retro car will plumet invalue, and original mustang will always be worth more than you have in it.

So, If you want retro, buy a cheapo for basic driving, and get the real thing for the same money. You will be happier and have more money in the end.
