I am looking at buying my buddy's road legal XR650R, but I also have an opportunity to get a good deal on a road legal CRF450X. I will primarily be using these bikes to cruise on dirt roads and do some light trail riding. Which bike would make the better dirt road cruiser? Which bike is faster? Which one accelerates faster? I know the CRF is the better trail bike, but the XR is a grand cheaper and I know where it's been.
The XR650R is liquid cooled as well. You're thinking of the XR650L.
