What is A S R mean on a button on the dash of a Skoda Octavia 2.0 ltr tdi?

Anti Slip Regulation - It switches the traction control on and off. When its on (default) the onboard electronics cut the engine power if the front wheels spin.

When its off you can spin the wheels and burn rubber. Also when its off the orange traction control light on the dashboard will flash continuously.

Mostly best to leave it switched on.
