Forester to drive and stay in Alaska? My wife and I plan to move to Alaska and we wondering what would be the best car to drive (from Arkansas) and stay a year in Alaska. We plan to buy a used car around year 2000 with about 80000-100000 miles considering that our budget is between $6000 and $8000. Please keep in mind that I am 6'6 and need some leg room for the long ride. Thank you very much for your help.
