hello... i think i finally figured out what was wrong with my car... just to explain what happened... driving at approx 50-60mph my engine was doing fine... until i finally stop or slow down to a much slower speed... then my engine started to overheat...

anyways... i think it is my radiator fan switch... only because the fans do turn on... but not at the right time... if it was the relay... they would not turn on at all...

they only turn on when my engine is stopped... and overheating... anyways... i think it is my fan switch.. and i was wondering where it is located... thanks

There is NO fan switch.

There is a water temp sensor. It is often an input to your computer that turns on / off the fan.

The water temp sensor is often (but not always) located near the thermostat. They are usually very easy replace (requiring just simple handtools. It is NOT worth testing in your case bacause the sensor is about $10.

I don't know if your conclusion about your relay being good is flawless. Just don't dismiss those components completely.

Good Luck
