Where is the idle air control valve on '99 Subaru Outback?

I have found some instructions online for removing and cleaning the IACV on other Subaru models, but I cannot come up with anything specific for the '99 Outback. I've gotten the P1507 error code when the Check Engine Light (CEL) came on and the car has been intermittently stalling when I come to a stop or when I am idling. I'd like to clean the valve prior to spending up to $400 to have it replaced at a garage or spending $270 buying the part online. A picture of the part (either on or off the car) would be awesome!!

Thanks in advance!!

Start by cleaning the throttle body with a rag or old toothbrush and some carb cleaner. The iac motor is in the throttle body and comes off with 2 screws. Its not the throttle position sensor thats inline with the throttle plate, the other connector. If there are heavy deposits change the air filter and pcv valve - much cheaper. You may be able to clean the passages without removing the iac motor, good luck.
