Why did Roger Taylor throw the drumset at Freddie Mercury after Rainbow concert 74?

In an interview Freddie said Roger threw a drumset across the stage after a concert and it could have killed him. I saw the Rainbow concert 1974 and Roger did throw a drum across the stage. It almost hit poor Freddie. Why did he do it? Dont you think Roger would have been sorry if he hurt Freddie??????????? Bad BAD roger.
