Window tint on a volvo 240 1993?

i want to get at least the three windows in the back tinted. i'm not sure how dark i want it, but i live in california and it needs to be california legal. i don't know much about it, but i heard that it's harder to tint older cars because the windows have to be clean or else there will be bubbles. (?) Does anyone know how much it would cost?

any window can be tinted unless it's broken. just go to your local autoparts store and get some (invisible glass) glass cleaner and a few white terrycloth hand towels.. In cali any of your back windows can be tinted as dark as you want and your front windows must allow more than 70% of light in and non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 4 inches of the windshield
