Would a kawasaki klr 650 be a good bike for me.?

Ive never ridden a motorcycle before planning on taking msf and buying a cheap bike possible for the first year. But quick questions im 6,1 275 or a couple pounds more i dont like to look at the scale. Would this fit me well my main concerns are can i touch the ground with 2 feet flat footed and its not to heavy so its really hard to learn on. Comments please or other suggestions was thinking vulcan 500 but i heard the dual sports have more room for taller guys.

Zebra,If planning to road ride in the winter you will need to consider a fairing for protection from the elements(bugs,rain,sand,flying gravel,etc ).The KLR 650 is a very good choice.They are a tough machine and would have better maneuverability in traffic jams.The Vulcan 500 may ride a little softer though and can be purchased with a sort of touring package.I personally prefer the 1600 Nomad as my choice although I do not own one at this time.Good Luck
