This legendary guitarist is currently on his 'Rick Emmett Plays Eric Clapton' tour. I just bought tickets a few minutes ago for his February show. It's a great little venue...a community centre which holds around 250. I saw Johnny Winter there last year...front row!
Are there any other fans of Rick out there? Will you be going to this show? I know he's touring Canada...not sure about the US though.

Gerry S - You're so correct...Rick is a genius.
But he's spent the last 20 years recording blues and jazz standards...
I think it's great to see him pay homage to a hero, and an inspiratiopn such as Eric Clapton.
Maybe the London Philharmonic Orchestra should stick to playing there own songs also?
