I just purchased an older motorcycle. Its a '90 Kawasaki Vulcan 750. It dosent have alot of power. It struggles on hills and really lacks the top end speed to travel on the interstate. It dosen't sound like any mechanical problems other that a ticking sound after startup that quicky goes away . The gas mileage also stinks. I only get about 85-100 miles on a 3 gallon tank. Am I delerious for thinking a 750 shold do more?

coould be air/fuel misture wrong, or low compression. Other than that is an aftermarket exhaust whihc hasnt enought back presure for the engine.... i.e Harley pipes
