i have a vauxhall cavalier 1.8i and i was told that i shud keep the revs between 2000 and 3000 so i dnt use a lot of petrol, is this true and if i take it over 3000 revs will i use more petrol
Basically this is true BUT for speeds of , say 40 -70 MPH
The use of high revs when moving off causes increased fuel consumption but, using to high a gear at low speed does also
