Volvo S80 a good car?

I'm looking to replace my 99 Civc. I love the look of the s80 but is it reliable? buying new is out of the question and besides I noticed the re-sale vale is kinda low which to me makes it a decent used car buy. Anyone have one? or is a BMW or an Audi a better deal or maybe an Acura.

BMW is better because it is faster, has a better warranty and a better resale value. The Volvo is meant for not much fun, but a predictable drive. The BMW has fun while adding a predictable drive. Make sure to check out the manual in the BMW 5-Series, it will knock your socks off!
